During the Bush Administration, Republican leaders in Congress repeatedly voiced their contempt for the filibustering of his judicial nominees. They went as far as to say that it was unconstitutional. Now that President Obama has nominated Sonia Sotomayor for the Supreme Court, how quickly do you think that they will forget that rhetoric? Good question. It seems to me though if the GOP does really go after her nomination they will really be hurting the party, so I think they might slow it down but likely approved later.
