Some Things Never Change

The following quote seems relevant given Scott Walker's Beer & Brats Photo Op on Tuesday.  It is taken from Walker's longtime allies on the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Editorial Board. It is interesting that this admonishment from an ally comes a full 6 years into his time as Milwaukee County Executive.

"There needs to be far more [cooperation]. But for that to happen, Walker needs to bend..." -MJS, 3/30/08

The true test of Scott Walker's will to cooperate comes after the brats are put down and the legislative proposals are picked up. Will he bend or will he go back to his rigid default position?

I hope he ends up looking like he is bending, without actually bending. Giving in to bad ideas just for the sake of "compromise" won't cut it.
