Did Walker Just Surrender in the Twit-Off?

Back in July we started bringing you the exciting coverage, "Walker v Neumann: The Twit-Off". There have been several twists, turns and even some lack of machismo in the process. But today might mark the end of this award winning coverage as Heartland Hollar has reported that Scott Walker's Twitter account has been "suspended due to strange activity". Does this mean that Walker has surrendered in the great twit off? Stay tuned.

UPDATE: Speaking of suspended right wing Twits, Heartland Hollar points out that Karl Rove's Twitter account has also been suspended.

What an account suspension probably means is he friended too many people in a short period of time, which made him look like a spammer. Insert joke about spammers being better than Walker here.

Walker keeps blaming the “opposition,” but this time he’s been caught red handed… by Google.

September 27, 2009 – Scott Walker is following 4,862 users, and is being followed by 4,420 users.

October 3, 2009 – Scott Walker is following 3,614 users, and is being followed by 4,556 users.

This means that over the course of one week, WALKER added, then unfollowed 1248 users, and gained 136.

It’s impossible for someone to suggest that isn’t a violation of the Twitter TOS. Keep blaming the left Scott… you don’t need us to take you down.

Walker isn't the only one doing this, I've got a post on it up at prettyimportant.org
A conservative PAC spammed me using the same tactic as Walker is alleged to have used.
